Your tasks and responsibilities
- Perceptively assuming responsibility as a sparring for the management of the financial team for financial reporting
- Ensuring proper banking and payment transactions as well as accounts payable and receivable accounting
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports as well as analyses
- Preparation of financial planning (internal and external)
- Preparation of forecast models (monthly, quarterly and annually)
- Second point of contact (f/m/d) for external partners such as auditors, tax consultants and authorities
Your profile
- University degree in finance/accounting, taxes/auditing, controlling and/or business administration or comparable education.
- Knowledge of German tax legislation, commercial law and the requirements for non-profit organisations
- Enjoy working on complex contexts and have a strong analytical and market knowledge
- Preferably professional experience in the areas of non-profit and payroll accounting
- Preferably professional experience in an auditing and/or tax consultancy firm
- Experience in using ERP/accounting systems (especially DATEV knowledge is an advantage)
- Fluent German, good English required
- Hands-on mentality
- A structured and independent, but also constructively critical way of working
- communicative and intercultural skills
